The Legend

These unique hand-crafted figurative scupltures represent the guardian spirits inhabiting the forests, mountains, rivers and the plains of ancient America. Our inspiration is derived from the beauty and mystery of nature; the colors and textures of a sunset on the open plains, the aged oak adorned in new snow, an autumn evening evolving into a star-studded twilight. When you invite 'ANCIENT ONES' into your home they bring the power and peace from the drums and campfires of a long forgotten people.

The 'ANCIENT ONES' are not of one tribe or religion, but rather our interpretation of The People living in small clans throughout ancient America. The 'ANCIENT ONES' are approximately 16 - 19 1/2 inches in height. Their faces and hands are sculpted from polymer clay and attired in natural materials; leather, feathers, beads, shells, and stones. All of the fur we use is recycled from old coats. Each of the 'ANCIENT ONES' is adorned with a medicine bag holding sweet grass, sage, and lavender, as well as semi-precious gemstones. We mount them on a wood base with a brass name plate bearing their given name. Each is numbered and signed. A Certificate of Authenticity is included with each of the 'ANCIENT ONES'.
